Quirky Ales to take part in the 2018 inaugural ‘Festival of Brewers‘.
The new festival, ‘Festival of Brewers’ will take place on 29-30 June 2018 at New Craven Hall, just South of Leeds City Centre.
The festival concept is to host an event shining a spotlight on smaller, independent craft breweries that are often overlooked at other festivals in favour of the more well-known craft breweries. These small breweries are brewing on small kit, and producing great tasting, quality beers.
The festival organiser, Mike Tap says;
As much as I love the well-known craft brewers and other beer festivals, I wanted to create an event to give an opportunity to those who don’t always get one.
I’m pleased to now confirm the final brewery line-up! All nine breweries are Yorkshire-based and will be hosting their own bars, selling cask and keg on draft. They will be bringing bottles and cans for drinking at the event, or to takeaway. The brewers themselves will also be on-hand, so a great opportunity to meet the people behind the beers.
Here’s the line-up:
Nomadic Beers – Meanwood Brewery – EYES Brewing – Quirky Ales – Wilde Child Brewing Co. – Wishbone Brewery – Sunbeam Ales – Crooked Brewery – Horsforth Brewery
This event is ticket only, and tickets are on sale now. General admission starts at £6 plus £1 booking fee, and there’s also a limited number of exclusive tickets for a tutored tasting of beers, on each day, hosted by me! All ticket information can be found at https://festivalofbrewers.eventcube.io/.
