(Subject to Government guidelines)
As we look forward to reopening The Tap for outdoor drinking in a few weeks here is what our plans are, subject to amendment should Government guidelines change between now and April 12th.

  • We will be opening our outdoor drinking area for table service.
  • We have a maximum capacity of 36 (6 x 6) under current restrictions.
  • We do not have the sophistication to handle a booking/reservation system, sorry.
  • In order to accommodate as many customers as possible you may be asked to share a “plot”.
  • Please do not spread outside the marked areas or join up “plots”.
  • The toilets will be open, but face coverings required when entering The Tap to use them.
  • Our Takeaway service will continue during these opening times only.
  • We look forward to welcoming you back and all we ask for is a degree of patience and understanding as we do our best to provide you all with a safe and comfortable outdoor drinking experience.

You can now purchase your favourite Quirky Ales to drink at home… directly from the brewery! We stock a good range of Quirky bottled ales (subject to availability) plus a variety of harder to find beers from other breweries (based both locally and further afield). We’re also currently working on a ‘click and collect’ service.

Visit your favourite Tap Room! As well as serving your favourite Quirky Ales on draught (and in bottles) we’ll also be selling a range of cask and bottled guest ales, plus a small selection of wines and ciders. Please see the FAQ section below for more info. We look forwarding to welcoming you soon!

Are you hosting a party and want to treat your guests to hand pulled ales?  Quirky Ales can offer the hire of a temporary bar and hand pumps which can provide two Quirky Craft Ales in either 36 or 72 pint volumes. For more information please email Info@quirkyales.com.

Are you looking for a cosy venue for a celebration? Have you considered hiring The Tap at Quirky Ales? This cosy space can accommodate up to 60 people across two rooms and is available for hire. In the summer months capacity can be increased to include the outside drinking area too. We offer quality hand pulled craft ales brewed on the premises, along with a wider range of ciders, wines and spirits. We have a range of local artisan food suppliers and also musicians for you to consider too. For more information please email Info@quirkyales.com.

It’s located within our tap room. Please see our contact page for a map and directions.
Yes. We also welcome trade enquiries.

You can pick up a selection of Quirky craft ales in bottles, plus a broad selection of ales from other breweries (in both bottles and cans). We  regularly rotate many of our guest beers so there will always be something new for you to try!

Yes. One bottle! We’ll happily sell you whatever you need… a few bottles or a few hundred (subject to availability of course).
Most of the bottles in the shop are stored at room temperature, however we can pre-chill bottles for you on request… just give us a call to let us know what you need!

We offer a discount for trade purchases… please contact us for further details.

Not at present, but we’ll soon be launching a ‘click and collect’ service. In the meantime, please give us a call, and we’ll be happy to prepare an order for collection.

We charge a premium for drinks consumed on the premises. The bottle shop price discount applies only to those sold for consumption at home.

It’s tucked away on a small industrial estate in Garforth (Leeds). Please see our contact page for a map and directions.
Yes. In fact there are TWO stations in Garforth. The closest is simply called ‘Garforth’ (the furthest being ‘East Garforth’). The link below gives further information.

The tap room is located about half a mile from Garforth station and is a 5-10 minute walk.

Yes. Garforth is well served by public transport. Please visit West Yorkshire Metro for bus timetables.

Unfortunately not. If travelling by car, please park on Ash Lane. Please note that Ash Lane is used by heavy goods vehicles, so please park responsibly and allow enough space for larger vehicles to pass and/or manoeuvre.
We will be serving up to 4 cask ales at any one time (and possibly more during special events). We also stock bottles and cans.

Yes, we normally have a regular keg lager on as well as rotating guest ales.

We recognise that there are one two strange folk that don’t actually like beer, so we also offer wine (by the glass or the bottle) cider, and soft drinks. We do not serve spirits.

Well behaved children are permitted in the Tap Room before 6.00pm. After 6.00pm, use of the tap room is for over 18’s only.

Yes. Provided it is well behaved and kept on a lead. You will be responsible for your dog at all times. We reserve the right to ask owners with unruly animals to leave.
We offer a selection of crisps, nuts and bar snacks. Food will be available when we are holding special events.
Yes. Garforth has a good range of dine-in restaurants and take-aways (all within a 10 minute walk from the brewery). These include Indian, Italian and Chinese.

Our nearest restaurant is the Aagrah, and is approximately 5 minutes walk away. It tends to get busy, so we recommend you book in advance where possible.

Absolutely. Please contact us to discuss your requirements (subject to availability).

All our ‘regular’ Quirky cask ales (hand pulled) are priced at £3.20 a pint (seasonal and special brews may be slightly more). Guest beers are £3.40 a pint. Tasting flights (three x 1/3 pints) are also available.
